As part of the “Development Process” offering at NYU’s Schack Real Estate Institute - a course providing students a step by step analysis of the phases utilized in the real estate development process - students groups were tasked with presenting to the Mt. Vernon, NY planning commission commercial/residential or mixed use development projects aimed at reviving the blighted Mt. Vernon West Community.

The key component to the Mt. Vernon urban Renewal initiative is the Mt. Vernon West train station, which links Mt. Vernon to Grand Central Station, via the Metro North railway, in little under 30 minutes. concept3D assisted one group in showcasing their mixed-use proposal to the commission, providing the class, its professor, and the commission an exciting 3D look at New York City’s Grand Central Station and the group’s proposed development. Enjoy.
