A few weeks ago, Jim Polsfut (president of the Denver Biennial effort - http://www.coloradostatesman.com/content/991171-denver-biennial-will-open-hemispheric-dialogue) introduced the Ambassadors to Mexico, Chile and Argentina to his roundtable using Google Earth rendered videos created and produced by concept3D (www.concept3d.com). These short snippets send you to each home city while integrating photos, Google Earth and regional music…pretty cool.
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Mexico City, Mexico
Denver, USA
We enjoyed participating in this event featuring leaders in the Denver community (including Mayor Hickenlooper and Sally Hamilton, from University of Denver) and beyond (including former Secretary of Transportation of Energy under Clinton - Federico Peña; and Luella Chavez d’ Angelo, president of the Western Union Foundation.) The foresight to leverage Google Earth and rendering a story that connects people around the globe is one small example of Denver’s emphasis on globalism with a focus on the arts and innovation.
